~ (2005) consists of two editions, a child form (CAT-C™) and an adult form (CAT-A™). In addition there is a computer software edition of these tests which allows administration and scoring of either form.
CAT-A™ is a 108-item self-report instrument that measures attentional deficits with and without hyperactivity. Items are sensitive to symptom presentation in differing contexts, and sample both internal sensations and overt behaviors.
CAT-A &trade consists of two parts: (1) Childhood Memories and (2) Current Symptoms. Score for both parts and a composite total are obtained. In addition, three validity scales are embedded within the instrument--Negative Impression, Infrequency, and Positive Impression Management.
CAT-C™ is a parallel form which closely resembles the Adult edition. CAT-C™ item content, Clinical scales, Context clusters, and Locus clusters are similar in both editions.
The kits consits of one package of each of the forms, plus a manual. The Manual is the same for both CAT-A™ and CAT-C™.
The software porfolio allows unlimited scoring if responses are key-entered from the printed forms. A per-case fee is charged for on-screen administration of the tests.

CONNERS' CONTINUOUS PERFORMANCE TEST 2 V.5 (CPT2)

~ (1999) is an unlimited use computerized assessment tool used to identify attention problems and measure treatment effectiveness. The assessment task is presented much like the child's game of Simon Says. The theory on which the test is based is that ADD subjects will be less able to learn the optimal timing for a response than normal clients, and so will make more errors and have more difficulty learning to adapt to the variable rate of presentation of stimluli. Software runs on Windows computers.
